Opportunity In Brief

Teesside University is a great place for students to get involved in a wide range of enterprising experiences that will really 'give you wings'!

Whether it's Teesside Enactus, Teesside University Student Food Co-op or Teesside University Technology and Enterprise Club there is something for everyone.

Meet real entrepreneurs at one of our regular Tuesday evening events.  This year we have guests speakers lined up from The Silicon Valley Bank, Digital City, Moon Jet Group, Snatch Mobile Gaming and many more!

 

Come along on a Wednesday afternoon to one of our Enterprise skills sessions. This year we will be coving topics like developing an entrepreneurial mind-set, confidence building, motivation, persuasion and decision-making.  These sessions are open to all students and are fun, interactive workshops.

If you want to make a difference to the world and want to use business skills to improve people's lives, you might want to join Teesside Enactus our award winning student social enterprise team.

All of the Student Future enterprise activities are eligible as volunteering opportunities through Volun-tees.

 

Teesside Enactus

Teesside Enactus is our award winning social enterprise team. Each year this outstanding group of student volunteers tackles national and international social problems through a programme of entrepreneurial action.

As well as being, a fun and very worthwhile initiative being involved in Teesside Enactus offers multiple benefits such as; networking with leaders and managers from 'Blue Chip' UK companies, acknowledgement from sponsor companies and training opportunities for personal development. As well as the satisfaction of knowing you are making a real difference to disadvantaged people's lives. Enactus Teesside is currently in the process of expansion and has a portfolio of diverse social enterprise projects that could appeal to you!

Teesside University Student Food Co-op

Teesside University Student Food Co-op is a hugely successful student food initiative where students own and manage their own social enterprise. Food Co-ops are great ways for students to get together and make a real impact on the health and wellbeing of the University. Running a weekly pop-up shop the Food Co-op is making a real impact on campus.

Teesside University Technology and Enterprise Club (2Tec)

Teesside University Technology and Enterprise Club (2Tec) is a brilliant student/staff initiative that aims to drive student innovation in the broad area of enterprise and technology at the University.

The 2Tec Manifesto explains its goals and vision, as being "Where great ideas, meet great people!" Our Tuesday evening meet the entrepreneur events are where you will get a chance to meet real talk to genuine business people about their road to success,
